David Van Ransbeeck

Mostly Owl's music consists of a wide range of folk music styles from the Balkans to Western Europe spiced up with a bit of a Latin American sounds.

The project was launched by David Van Ransbeeck, Belgian-Polish violinist, and Gabor Vörös, Hungarian singer and guitarist, inspired by music from Kolinda (H) and Jablkoñ (Cz). Luc Van Der Stock, Belgian bassist musically collaborating with Gabor for over 24 years on varied projects, joined in soon after, and brought new depths of sound to an already rich repertoire.
 

Mostly Owl brings you a set of rhythmical tunes from around the globe and own compositions on acoustic guitar, violin and bass. We often perform in small concert venues, bars and cafes, and as part of festivals and cultural events, but also gladly take private bookings.
