As subtly expanding wrinkles in water express a slow echo of the big bang, David's compositions take their inspiration from Life in Motion. From the smallest atomic fluctuations, to the greatest shifts in the universe, passing through the most humanly movements of dance, his exploration of Movement results in an original programme in which a diversity of timings, rhythms and melodies transports audiences in an inspirational sonic voyage.

 

Building upon the ideas of timeless masterpieces, David's solo repertoire combines his own compositions with inspirational classical works. In addition to a carefully curated selection from his 300 Oneliners - short pieces with unexpected harmonic twists and complex time signatures - he also performs some of his longer compositions. Ranging from introspective to hyperkinetic, and enriched by influences from a wide rage of musical genres, his melodies still remain highly accessible to audiences of all ages and musical sensitivities.
